Our first ever Big Future online event last month generated $4,500, with attendees listening to a fascinating talk from Yanki Margalit, asking lots of interesting questions, and donating generously.
Today we’re so happy to announce that we have been able to pass that money on to people in need already.
We have begun to build a new school in Mzuzu in Malawi for 20 students, and have also donated one month’s worth of medical supplies and food to 13 families in Belem do Para in Brazil.
We are also in the process of building a kitchen for a family in Belem do Para so they can start a takeaway restaurant to provide income for the family.
We are able to do this work with the support of our friends on the ground and the supporters who came to the online session and donated. Thank you so much, and just imagine what we can do together with more Big Future events!
