Your New Home Could Be Printed

If you’re looking for somewhere to live in California, the solution could be a 3D printed home.

Might Buildings are a California- based business printing ready-to-go houses for delivery all over the state, with plans to expand around the US. Creating the homes this way reduces building waste by printing only what’s needed, cutting out the average 3-5lbs of waste per square foot associated with regular building methods.

ADU (accessory dwelling unit)

This is a tiny house style unit that can be installed in a garden as some additional space where there is already an existing dwelling. These units can be spare rooms, offices, or even rental properties.

Mighty Houses

Ranging from 864 to 1,440 square feet, the 3D printed houses are designed to be fully functional family homes. Made from a newly developed non-silicate Light Stone Material and steel components, the buildings are durable and sustainable. Houses are printed in the factory and assembled on-site at your location. The whole process takes 4-6 months from beginning to end.

Houses come in three sizes:

Cinco
1440 sq. ft. Total
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

Quatro
984 / 1176 sq. ft. Total
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

Trio 864 sq. ft. Total
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

Mighty Houses are modern and energy efficient, and come with installed appliances, air conditioning. Some aspects are customisable, and you can choose between several different models depending on the sort of solution you need.

We have high hopes that Mighty Buildings will become the norm for new house construction, with their eco-friendly design and build, and their relative affordability compared with more traditional solutions. Rest assured we’ll report on any new developments in the 3D printed house world as soon as we get them.
