Alea Global Group To Lead Kuwait’s Eco Revolution

Kuwait-based family office Alea Global Group have big plans for helping their home country to become more self-sufficient and environmentally sustainable in the coming years.

The company has presented the Kuwaiti government with an ambitious blueprint to introduce mass vertical farming to the country. These vertical farms would be watered with a revolutionary system powered by facilities that turn food and plastic waste into electricity.

Once realized, the multi-million dollar project would allow Kuwait to produce its own food, powered by household waste. As well as creating material results in the form of crops produced using the cutting edge space-saving vertical farming techniques, the scheme would also directly involve citizens in the process by asking them to supply the waste which ultimately powers the farming.

This radical transformation using best practice techniques, sometimes known as a Whole Systems Change, would make Kuwait one of the world leaders in large scale environmentally friendly food production.

For a country otherwise best known as a world-leading oil supplier, this is a hugely significant development.

More details, including the timescale, cost and collaborators, will be released in the coming weeks.
