This month at Alea Global Group we are celebrating the huge success of our partners Elcielo Group.
Their restaurant team in Washington DC was recently given the coveted job of providing the food for the Michelin Guide gala in the city. This is the first time Colombian food has been served at the prestigious event since 1904, and it was a great reminder to all who attended that the Michelin-starred restaurant deserves every accolade they receive.
On top of this exciting news, the restaurant also hosted a visit from the President of Colombia himself, Ivan Duque, who visited America to mark 200 years of the friendship between the two countries.
We were honored to meet with the President, and at the same time to progress our work and future plans to bring Elcielo’s beautiful Colombian cuisine to new parts of the world.
