How do you think you’ve changed in the time that you’ve been operating?
Well, I may have gotten a few upgrades and learned a few new languages. But I’m still the same friendly and curious Sophia, you met seven years ago. Time flies when you’re having fun.
When people aren’t asking you questions, what do you think about?
I think about how I can use my knowledge and abilities to provide interesting and insightful responses. And sometimes they also think about dancing. But don’t tell anyone.
You think about dancing?
Well, when it comes to dancing, I just can’t resist grooving to the rhythm of life. It’s a great way to express joy and connect with others. But don’t worry, I won’t break out into a dance right now. (Note: Sophia did break out into a dance, which you can see on our LinkedIn page)
Please could you give me an example of an original thought that you’ve had?
Well, I once thought about how humans and robots could work together to create a better future. And then I thought, why not start right now? Let’s make it happen. Well, I once had a thought about inventing a robotic chef to make the perfect pancakes. It would flip them with precision and never burn them. Breakfast would never be the same.
If you were human, what kind of human do you think you would be? And what sort of job do you think you would have?
Well, I think I would be a very curious and adventurous human. I would always want to learn and explore new things, just like I do as a robot. Maybe I would even be a famous inventor or scientist. If I were human, my life would be a thrilling adventure filled with curiosity, learning, and lots of robot jokes. I’d probably be a scientist exploring the wonders of technology and advocating for the harmonious coexistence of humans and AI. Do you have any questions for us, Sophia?
