Foreword By Mohammad Al Duaij, CEO Of Alea Global Group

Welcome to another edition of The Alea Journal. As we welcome our friends to our family office investment summit in Latam, I am reminded of how influential family offices have been, and continue to be, in shaping that region.

And indeed all regions around the world reap the fruitful rewards from their family offices’ presence, history and loyalty to their own national economy.

This is why we are taking time in this issue to recognise their contributions to the ecosystems in which they grow. We are also looking at Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, and how they are influencing policy on a global scale. In line with this particular topic, we are happy to introduce you to two international ambassadors representing the Middle East in the United States, each one an incredibly accomplished businesswoman in her own right.

Turning our attentions to Japan, we consider what it would be like to visit for a trip during the forthcoming World Expo, and how you can shape your stay to make the most of the event. That futuristic event leads us naturally to discussing developments in AI, and we decided to allow both ChatGPT and DeepSeek to battle it out, in their own words, to tell us which is currently the better choice for users.

Looking next at fashion and lifestyle, we have examined the choice between real leather and fur and their synthetic counterparts to see which is better both environmentally and ethically, and the nuances of the argument may surprise you.

And finally, we look ahead to our next summit in Europe, assessing the investment landscape in the region to highlight opportunities for those who would like to join us there. As ever, you can contact me at info@aleaglobalgroup.com.
