Our partnership with fitness programme MoveOn has taken some leaps and bounds recently. Users who have the MoveOn app will be able to locate all the sports activity taking place in their area – including activities not related to Move On training – and will be able to join outdoor sessions nearby.
Outdoor exercise is a particular favourite right now, with the open air considered safer for avoiding coronavirus than indoor spaces. Activities people can join in with include running, fitness classes, functional training and circuits. A city map will show users all the places where they can get fit, including permanent outdoor fitness facilities users may not have known were in their city. MoveOn training staff will also be viewable in the app, and users can book lessons with them.
The MoveOn community has more than 12,000 members in Rome, and Italian users can have full insurance to protect them against any injury sustained during MoveOn training. The app will be ready to go in approximately two months.
